CELTIC, Central Europe. Vindelici. Mid 1st century BC. Quinarius (Silver, 14 mm, 1.24 g), 'Büschelquinar' type. Head devolved into a bush. Rev. Horse galloping to left; above and below, pellet-in-torque. Flesche -, cf. 369-374 (differing symbols). Kellner, Manching, group E. LT -, cf. 9322 (differing symbol). Nick -. SLM -, cf. 943-947 (differing symbols). A very rare variety. The reverse somewhat double struck, otherwise, very fine.
